Aegiscribe is designed around local-first processing: core transcription and summarization are intended to run on your device. This policy describes what the app and website collect, how data is handled, and how to contact us.
Local processing
Imported audio, transcripts, summaries, and session data are stored on your machine unless you explicitly export or share them. Core note generation does not require sending meeting audio to Aegiscribe-operated servers for that step.
Website
This marketing site may use standard server logs and analytics to understand traffic and improve the product. Download and support requests sent by email are handled according to normal business correspondence practices.
Optional network features
If a release includes optional network-dependent features (for example, updates or future cloud integrations), those features will be labeled in the product. Using them is your choice.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for obtaining consent to record conversations where required, and for how exported notes are stored or shared in your organization.
